The Social & Livelihood Advancement for Residents (SOLAR) Movement, Inc. is a community-based, volunteer organization whose mission is to empower the ordinary citizens to help themselves achieve socio-economic progress and uplift their quality of life.

 

The SOLAR Movement aims to address the various needs of residents, particularly the underserved and less privileged in the community, through the following :

Our group's major activities focus on the training & education of its members and other target beneficiaries.   We believe that one of the most effective ways to empower families & individuals is through adequate education and access to information.  In addition to helping members of the community acquire knowledge, we shall assist in creating opportunities, so they can apply this knowledge that will hopefully lead to tangible & sustainable socio-economic progress.
